Capella Materials

The tutorial and examples below are actually the second chapter of the book: Simple Arcadia for Beginners: Using Capella. Beginners who are new to Arcadia and new to the tool should be able to walk through the examples shown and create a simple model of a doorbell system in an hour or two.

Conditions of Use

  1. The tutorial and examples are provided As Is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
  2. The tutorial and examples can be used freely for all types of individual study and classroom instruction with the following restrictions:
    1. The tutorial and examples cannot be bundled or redistributed in any fashion without the express written permission of Asatte Press, Inc.
    2. Instructors must direct students to the Asatte Press, Inc website to download the tutorial and the examples.
    3. The tutorial and examples cannot be stored on a local server and indirectly distributed.
    4. It is acceptable for the tutorial and examples to be stored as part of the configuration management process for an instructional course as long as this storage is not used as a method of indirect redistribution or rebundling.

Consultants and instructors at private and public educational institutions are welcome to use this tutorial and the example files for the tutorial in classes, including instruction delivered for a fee, provided the conditions of use above are respected. In other words, if you are a consultant, you are welcome to use the tutorial and examples as part of your paid service as long as you make it clear to your clients where the material is coming from and ask your clients to actively download the material themselves.
